East Side Tavern - Refilling Liquor Bottles

East Side Tavern 721 E 4th St, Pueblo, CO 81001 had their liquor license suspended for fifteen days for a June 2010 violation of refilling liquor bottles. Some may consider the violation by liquor control as being harmless, it is however a serious liquor law infraction. Refilling Liquor Bottles is a Violation of Liquor Law on both the State and Federal level. The reason it is such a serious infraction is because the contents of a liquor bottle is regulated,. When a liquor bottle is refilled the contents becomes an unregulated commodity and a violation of the customer’s trust when they order a drink and don’t know what liquid they are being served. Refilled liquor bottles can be refilled with water, cheaper liquor or fake alcohol.

After the suspension was served by East Side Tavern 721 E 4th St, Pueblo, CO 81001, they hopefully discontinued the practice and are now serving customers the regulated contents of the labelled liquor bottle.
