The 5 star Riu Palace Las Americas Hotel is stunning, but don’t let that fool you into getting too cozy at the bar. The Cancun Mexico luxury hotel was allegedly part of the Fake Alcohol Enforcement by the Mexican authorities after countless claims and even deaths for years were never publicized.

It is important to remember that fake and counterfeit alcohol is an international problem. Drinks are even adulterated, mislabeled or misbranded here at luxury hotels in the states.
